Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
The CDC stresses that frequent & proper hand washing is the best way to control the spread and impact of hand-contact germs. What about surface contact germs? The EPA requires environmental surfaces to be pre-cleaned before any of the 5,000 plus EPA-registered sanitizers and disinfectants are used to control the contamination and cross-contamination of surface-contact pathogenic organisms.
PRE-CLEANING
Disinfectants require pre-cleaning of the surface in order to be effective. But, even frequent disinfecting of surfaces will not prevent the re-soiling and re-contamination which can reoccur within seconds! | EPA Registration Update! |

 The EPA registration of Sani-Shield RTU, Sani-Shield CONCENTRATE and Sani-Scrub is well underway. Unfortunately, it is a long, arduous process owing to the unique multifunctional chemistry, application advantages and performance benefits of these products compared to the 5,000 plus EPA-registered antimicrobials. We hope to have our registration by the first half of 2010.
